Nicola LaVerghetta and his family have been preparing Italian pastries in Philadelphia since 1945 (our fourth generation). Family members have joined the bakery and left it. Their shop has moved, improved, grown. The bakery, like the world, has changed. But their cookies, cakes and pies have not. They remain pure, handmade classics.
